The role involves implementing behaviour intervention plans, collaborating with educators, and promoting positive social and emotional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

Academic qualifications may be required by some employers, although entry is possible with relevant experience alone. A DBS check is mandatory.

TASKS

  • Use data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions..
  • Maintain open communication with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to share information about progress and challenges..
  • Provide feedback on successful interventions and collaboratively problem-solve..
  • Provide training to school staff, parents, or caregivers on effective strategies for managing challenging behaviours..
